Pride of West Texas Show Chorus (formerly known as Prairie Winds Chorus) is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the original artform of singing known as barbershop music. We are one of many chapters who are members of our international organization known as Sweet Adelines International.

Our Co-Directors, Teresa Batten and Heidi Wilson, inspire us to reach new heights with every performance. Our chorus performs year round in Lubbock and the surrounding areas for civic and charitable events, private organization celebrations, and our very own annual show production, all guaranteed to get your toes tapping and put a smile on your face. We enter our chorus float in the 4th on Broadway Parade every year. In 2011 we were awarded 1st Place in the music category! We perform the national anthem at Texas Tech basketball games and much more!

We love to entertain live but when we can't be there in person we offer "singing telegrams"  for any occasion at a very reasonable fee to make your loved one's special occasion EXTRA special and one they will never forget!

In our committment to perfecting this original artform of barbershop at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a five state regional competition that is very rewarding, giving us the opportunity to observe and fellowship with other sister barbershoppers in other states.
