About our co directors

TERESA BATTEN, Co-Director

 

Teresa Batten (sweetanlow@sbcglobal.net) has been singing since childhood. As a teenager she sang in the Coronado Chorale, took voice and piano lessons and sang with a gospel family band . She married into a musical family who now travels and performs gospel and bluegrass . Teresa sang bass with Rendition, a Region 25 Champion quartet, for 11 years; and with MYST, two time Region 25 Champion quartet, for 4 years. She is currently the bass for BLAZE quartet. Teresa is an elementary school nurse for Lubbock ISD . She and her husband Kevin have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. In 2012, Teresa began her role as co-director of PWTSC. She has been a member of this chorus and a Sweet Adeline for 16 years.

 

 

HEIDI WILSON, Co-Director

 

Heidi Wilson (harmonylead@hotmail.com) sings lead and has been a part of Sweet Adelines International for 16 years. For 4 years she sang lead with MYST, a two time Region 25, Champion quartet. She sang with Prairie Winds Chorus from 1997-2008 and returned to the chorus, now known as Pride of West Texas Show Chorus in 2012 as a co-director.  She was the lead in the quartet, Astound Sound from 1998-2008. Heidi and her husband, Andy, have 2 teenage sons: Davis (19) Keller (17). Heidi, a Texas Tech University graduate, is the choral director for Slaton High School and Slaton Junior High and she likes to spend her free time training for a triathlon.
