Competition Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest, to see who's really got top form. We root for each other, cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
Regional Every year in March our chorus makes the trip to the Eisemann Center in
International Sometime in the fall the winners of all regional contests -- and a few "wildcards" -- gather together at International competition. In 2012 International competition was held in Denver, CO, October 17-20. You can view the complete contest on a live webcast on the Sweet Adelines International website. This is the ultimate female barbershop competition -- not to be missed! The 2013 International Competition will be in Honolulu, Hawaii, Novenber 12-16.
